Dr Samantha Harris grew up in country Victoria and completed her undergraduate education at Monash university, finishing with an honours year in Immunology. She continued working in immunology research for the next 10 years.

In 2012 Samantha returned to university to pursue a medical degree with a goal of ultimately working in General Practice. Since graduating from Deakin University in 2015, she has worked at Eastern Health and several GP practices in Eastern Melbourne gaining experience in diverse fields including women’s and children’s health and mental health.

Samantha is passionate about the vital role general practice has to play in supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families, and looks forward to working with people of all ages and stages of life.

Samantha is a mother of three young children.
