Originally from Taiwan, Jerry grew up in New Zealand. He subsequently completed his medical degree at The University of Adelaide. Following medical school, Jerry gained valuable experience through rotations at The Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and The Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He started working at Vermont Health Care in 2017.
Jerry has an interest in skin cancer medicine and is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
This means that he has successfully completed a high level of training with the College, both in dermoscopic diagnosis and skin cancer surgery, and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer. He is able to perform skin checks as well as minor skin procedures including biopsies, skin cancer excisions and cyst removals.
Jerry also has a keen interest in all aspects of medicine and carries a passion for chronic illness care and preventative health.
Jerry is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
